Soul

Becoming conscious of the thoughts we take on board, the way in which we perceive and nourish our bodies, and the self-loving maturity with which we manage our emotions, we find a greater Harmony balanced within the integration of the individual. We just have to pay a little attention and bring a little more awareness to the nature of our Life Practice. And as we do, we find that this balanced Harmony is the voice of our Soul investigating and becoming more aware of what it’s like to be embodied. This is us becoming aware of the Creative Impulse chipping through our Being with an Authenticity that can only be known through a consistent Life Practice which encourages us to wake up and become more conscious in our daily life. Taking a peek through the veil of this view, allows us to release contractions and tensions associated with more unconscious behaviours, beliefs and feelings, and awakens that deeper awareness which allows us to engage more fully with the life energy of Mind, Body and Heart driven through Soul intention.
The Soul is the vehicle of the Divine Spark, or Spirit, and the link to the body. It is also the link between heaven and earth. The Soul is the witness, the observer – note that this is different to the causal experience of ever present awareness. The Soul is more personal in that it is the one who engages with the physical body and three-dimensional reality to give Consciousness its arms and legs. It is through the Soul that Spirit can manifest in the universe as the Creative Impulse so that WE ARE THE CREATOR.
Spirit is different to Soul. Spirit is like the Mother Ship, and the Soul is the Collective that navigates the Mother Ships’ course. Spirit is One. Soul is the many that comprise the One. So Spirit just IS, without fragmentation or division. Spirit is the Authentic Self and the Ground of all Being. It transcends and includes the Collective Heart and the Collective Mind which transcends and includes the Inner and Outer Self. Each a whole in its own right, yet each whole up the hierarchy requires what came before for it to be complete. Just as within the body we require atoms, cells and molecules to comprise our tissues and bony structure, so too does Spirit require Universal Love and Wisdom from a Collective Heart and Mind, along with the arms and legs that allow the process of creation to continue its Evolution.
So Soul and Ego wrestle with each other through memories and experiences loaded with resistance and emotion in a process of Translation, while Spirit is impersonal and formless without any individual identity or personality. Identity and personality are the domain of the Soul. Spirit is the active and passive form of everything. It is grounded in perpetual Evolution and is feeding off of and to the Souls’ Collective Mind and Collective Heart. Spirit is experiencing Is-ness or grounded-wholeness as the Ground of Being, and the force, power, drive and momentum of Consciousness in the Form of the Creative Impulse as the Authentic Self – of which we are all a part.
In this way Spirit provides the Ground of Being for its own momentum and drive as the Collective Consciousness of different souls giving arms and legs to the Creation of Consciousness. True Transformation transcends the self to realize the Self. In this sense, true transformation is not about making sense of the world as it is, but is instead about Transforming the world in a process of Conscious Creation. It’s not for the faint hearted!
So Spirit is the ever present awareness of the deep listening heart… it is the Creative Impulse that surges passionately through us urging us to Create. It is up to us as to what it is we create with this impulse… and it is from this perspective that we have a moral obligation to evolve so that we create that which takes into account the sustainable existence of our planet and the human species.
It is the goal of this teaching to realize the embodiment of our awareness and to awaken to the creative impulse that urges us to evolve consciously and intelligently with passion.
